Introducing the Proton Team!

We have a real mix of people at Proton so here is the very first of our staff profiles from our newest team member Sarah.

Name: Sarah Barraclough

Time with Proton: 1 Month

Job title: Project & Sales Coordinator

Previous Life? I worked in sales for many years in the motor trade with VW and Audi. This has given me so much experience dealing with people on a day to day basis. You have to be very organised, offer lots of advice, work long hours and deal with problems.

A Day in Your Life at Proton: My role at Proton is not dissimilar to many of the tasks I took on previously. I am here to advise on products, order queries and how the website ordering works.

I speak to publicans to make sure they are happy with the order process and deal with any queries that they have.

I am responsible for updating the website and sending out regular newsletters and advice to customers which includes everyone from Pub Co Director’s to Landlord’s.

Best part of your job? I am really new in my role so it’s hard to answer this but so far the people at Proton are all lovely and I am learning so much.

What makes you smile? Out of work it has to be holidays and my Dogue de Bordeaux puppy George

Likely to have in your sandwich? Hot Beef and gravy, that’s pretty Yorkshire I know!

Tea or Coffee? Neither, I am never without a bottle of water on my desk ever.

What do you order at the bar? A good chilled glass of Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc, I am definitely more a wine drinker than anything else!
